New Fire Protection Classes

In a letter dated August 29, 2003 to Michael Shell, Assistant Fire Chief, Douglas Young of Idaho Surveying and Rating Bureau wrote the following:

"We have completed our recent survey of the Island Park Fire District, and advice that the protection classes are as follows:  Dwelling property within 5 miles from the following stations are eligible for Class 8 rates.  Class 9 rates are eligible for all other properties between 5 and 10 miles from these stations.  Class 10 applies to all property beyond 10 miles from a fire station.  These new protection classes will be effective November 1, 2003."
