The Sawtelle Mountain Lodge is fully furnished so all you have to do is relax. In addition to all the linen and towels, you even find all the extras like coffee filters, paper towels, toilet tissue, salt & pepper, and cleaning supplies. We've tried to think of everything so you won't have to. You will also find a VCR, DVD, and a Dish Satellite in each unit. There is plenty of parking for the over-sized trucks and snowmobile trailers.
This duplex cabin is available year-round and is located in a wooded area yet close to restaurants and a convenience/gas station. A great location for ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing in the winter. You'll also want to include a snow coach ride into Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park. In the summer you have a choice of: fishing the lakes and streams, rafting, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, jet skiing, water skiing, golf, ATV rentals, and other fun activities.
Just 20 minutes to West Yellowstone, Montana or the Madison River. If you like to down hill ski it is about 1 1/2 hour drive to Big Sky, Montana and nearly the same to Targhee Ski Resort in Wyoming.
Nearby attractions: 20 miles to Yellowstone National Park and near Henry's Lake and Hebgen Lake as well as 4 blue ribbon rivers; Madison, Yellowstone, Gallatin, and the Snake River. You might also be interested in fishing or boating at Henry's Lake or Island Park Reservoir. Interesting points of interest: Virginia City, Montana; Imax and Grizzly Discovery Center, West Yellowstone; Bear World, Rigby.
